Today, I have another wonderful podcast episode for you, featuring USA Today’s book writer, Clare Mulroy.
Clare is USA TODAY’s books reporter, covering new releases, publishing news, reader trends and author features. She has been with USA TODAY since 2022, writing thoughtful stories about the evolving literary scene and profiling authors and stars like Jennette McCurdy, Malala Yousafzai, Kenan Thompson, Allison Williams and Freida McFadden (who recently revealed her identity in one of Clare’s stories). Clare describes herself as a lover of weird female protagonists and sprawling family narratives. She is a two-time winner of The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists’ “Excellence in Bisexual Coverage” award for her reporting on bisexual-affirming health care and biphobia. She studied journalism at American University and is based in New York City.
