Hello Tamia Talkers! Happy Monday!
It’s my last in and out of the year, so I’ll try to keep it short and sweet! I am fresh off of a trip to New York, so my ins and outs are heavily influenced by “the city.”
Over the past nine days, I’ve indulged in delightful reunions with friends, consumed an abundance of ice skating related film and television content and (as I have every month) tried desperately to detach myself from my dear phone.
December feels warm and fuzzy, full of hope and holiday spirit. I dig it! Here are my ins and outs :)
ins
pop girl christmas albums on constant repeat
boyfriends who are delightful enough to bring to girls night
healing conversations and closing the bar
a good film camera and putting the phone away
laughing until your stomach hurts
binge watching 2010s romcoms and other heart palpitation inducers
puzzle night and hip mobility exercises
the girl who does “spreading love in nyc” toks
brooklyn (i like it now) and kouign amann framboise

being afraid of confrontation (pls be direct, it’s so important!)
artificially flavored water and horrible sleep schedules
people who leap out of their seat on the plane even though no one is moving
uncomfortable shoes (in a serious way)
hopelessness and general despair
spending too much time online (log out of your socials, be a human!)
avoidance and not taking steps toward your deepest desires
forgetting to check on your friends (give a greeting, say hello!)
hard feelings and lovelessness (lorde, 2017)
