Aiyana is a South Carolina-born, Miami, Florida-bred journalism icon who serves as the associate editor at Teen Vogue. Before landing at TV, Aiyana attended Florida A&M, a historically black university in Tallahassee.
Her work focuses on the culture of fashion and how it affects marginalized communities. In addition to her work at Teen Vogue, Aiyana has written for the Wall Street Journal, Essence, Refinery29, and Glamour.
During our conversation, Aiyana shared some incredible insights for people in every stage of their career, whether they are just starting college or looking for a career or life pivot.
